I have been arguing for years that a public health care option is great for entrepreneurship. If you look at countries who have public systems you see that they have higher rates of business start-ups, despite weaker cultures of starting their own business. One major reason for this is that they don't have to risk bankruptcy from medical costs when starting their business.
